Hello
hi there!
When subscriptions are renewing, sometimes invoices are marked as 'Past Due' due to insufficient credit. In that case, Stripe automatically retries the payment. Could you let me know what events Stripe sends during these retry attempts?
assuming we tried to pay the invoice and it failed, you would get a invoice.payment_failed webhook event.
Before it mark as failed it mark as Past Due, then how that stripe retry works?
Because i want to listing to retry event before it mark as payment_failed
I don't understand your question, sorry. every time Stripe attempts to pay and invoice and it failed, you'll get a invoice.payment_failed event. then at some point the Invoice will become past_due and you'll receive an invoice.updated event.
and you can use the dashboard settings to confugre the retires and the subscription/invoice status: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/automatic
