Hmm the only option here would be to re-initialize PaymentSheet as that's where the PaymentIntent is configured. I don't think we have a separate method for this

The only issue there is that the user has already selected payment methods, so if we re-initialise it, the selected payment methods gets cleared
And it isn't possible from what I see to re-init with a selected payment method

Yeah.. With intent first approach, the SDK doesn't expect any changes to the PaymentIntent..
have you explored defer intent approach using IntentConfiguration? If not, I'd recommend reading through the link I shared above
It allows you to render PaymentSheet and collect Payment Method without needing a PaymentIntent first
