Hello
Transfers are synchronous
They will never go into pending
You can monitor Payouts via a Webhook
By listening for payout.created and payout.paid
Ok so if we see the transfer payload, then that means that the money has left our account and went into the receiving ends account.
Let me quickly check the docs about the payout webhook and I will swing right back
Sounds good
Where exactly are the docs for that? And would I just use their account connect id starting with 'acct' to monitor those changes?
https://docs.stripe.com/connect/webhooks are the docs on Webhooks for Connected Accounts
Not sure there are specific docs on payout.created / payout.paid but you can see those are relevant Events in our API ref here: https://docs.stripe.com/api/events/types#event_types-payout.created
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
Okay well I am going to set something up quickly to see if I can get something going. May I ask to not immediately kill this chat.
Sure it stays open for a bit and then will close after a period of inactivity. You can always start a new thread if needed!
Awesome thanks bud
