Other documentation might not be updated to match this style

But the client/service model is the recommended approach

OK, I'll wait to migrate until after documentation is more thoroughly updated - I'll want to read more about things like "Services are available under either the v1 or v2 accessors."

so it might take a little while for all the docs to be updated. We don't want to confuse the majority of our users who are on older versions.
