The user was on an Enterprise plan. There was a subscription_schedule created and on the end date the user was downgraded to Business

I am trying to understand what that schedule means

This does lead to a Schedule being created as that is how the Dashboard handles updates

What do you mean by:

on the end date the user was downgraded to Business

When that Subscription Schedule was created/updated it was set with end_behavior: cancel

#

So whomever performed this action via the Dashboard indicated that the Subscription should be canceled once the set time period was over.

User when subscribed was meant to be on the Enterprise plan for 29 Nov 2023 and it ended on 29 May but on 4dec 2023 another subscriptionw as created for a different plan and they were getting charged for both

Yeah the ending on 29 May is due to the above

Can you share the Subscription ID for the other Subscription that was created?

That would have been done separately -- you can't force a Subscription to be created when updating a different Subscription.
