an expired card can continue to work in some cases, that's completely up to the bank

Hello. Thanks for that. Is there anyway for us to know that an expired card is reusable - or is it just a matter of trying it and seeing what the bank says?

unfortunately you can't know in advance no.
so as you said, you need to try and see if it worked.

Ok, no worries. I guess we should probably allow cards to be selectable in our app (rather than hide them). Then they can make the decision to try the card if they want to.
