👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

are you seeing any logs when you press/click on the button?

raven lark
#

No, unfortunately not - the payment sheet isn't returning anything.

#

Or producing any logs, it's literally like the payment sheet GPay button is just there but has no action behind it

#

have you been able to reproduce this in test mode?

#

What SDK version are you on?

raven lark
#

0.29.0

#

and have you been able to reproduce this in test mode?

raven lark
#

No it works fine in test mode

#

We’ve made no alterations to our app

pearl idol
#

Hmm with no reproduction and no logs, I don't know how we'd be able to look into this.
If there are no logs in the logcat for the button interaction, It is possible that your button is getting overlapped by some other UI element. I've not heard of other reports of the PaymentSheet behaving this way..

Something must have changed in your app or android version

raven lark
#

Yeah I know this is going to be difficult to diagnose - we've not made any changes to our app in 3 months

pearl idol
#

have you tried upgrading to the latest SDK to see if that changed anything?

raven lark
#

Yep just upgraded to 0.38.6 and same issue

#

The button is pressable, if select and hold it tints to indicate it’s been selected
