Do you mean on the PDF invoice itself, the API object, or?
No i fetch a customer using stripe.customer.retrieve and I cant see their tax id. I have to use stripe.customers.listTaxIds in order to do that, but then I get a list of taxIds and I'm not sure which one of the tax Ids will actually be displayed to the user on their invoices.
so is there a way to tell which one will be displayed on the invoices?
They will all be, AFAIK. Should be easy enough to test. customer_tax_ids will reflect that: https://docs.stripe.com/api/invoices/object#invoice_object-customer_tax_ids
