Both successful and failed payments will redirect to return_url. Your system should check the status of the Payment Intent to identify whether the payment is succeeded or requires a new payment method

Not necessary! You can retrieve the Payment Intent status from the client side using stripe.retrievePaymentIntent('{PAYMENT_INTENT_CLIENT_SECRET}'): https://docs.stripe.com/js/payment_intents/retrieve_payment_intent
