👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

ok. so can you suggest a solution for this?

#

I'm not sure whether I understood it correctly. does this mean the shipping address will be over written while confirming the payment intent?

I haven't given shipping parameter for confirmParams. Then how can I remove it?

Are you using any address element?

#

yes. I'm using address element

That explained the issue! When you use Address Element in the same Elements group, the shipping address will populate automatically when confirming the payment intent with stripe.confirmPayment()

#

Two options to solve the issue:

  1. Remove shipping address from the Payment Intent creation request in the server, and let elements populate the shipping information for you; OR
  2. Create Address Element in a different Elements group
