Is there anyway for me to bypass this behavior to verify it works properly? Also, is there a documentation of the events triggering customer mailing in production mode?

the other emails, I think there are ways in the Dashboard to simulate them (like when you're on the page for an Invoice, there is a button to send it to an email address manually)

yeah unfortunately there is a not a clear documentation page that describes it all, I agree it's not great and it's common feedback.

  • Are automatic emails (evenhough not working in test mode) are configured by default or should I setup it up manually?
  • Are invoices automatically sent to customer before payment?
