Hi, are you asking if Google Pay will be dispalyed using Stripe Checkout in test mode? Or, something else?
Hello! I'm taking over and catching up...
We do show the Google Pay button in Checkout in test mode when Google Pay is available.
the G Pay button only appears when a real/live Credit Card is entered, however in the test mode, it's common that the tester only uses test credit card, not a REAL one.
Ah, gotcha. For Google Pay, we require a live card, even in test mode. This allows more people to test more easily because it doesn't require a developer account or adding special test cards.
Yep, I know about Google's test cards. We do not support those.
even in test mode? ๐ข
Correct, we do not support them in Checkout in test mode, nor do we support them for any of our other web-based integrations.
We use live cards in test mode for those surfaces.
thank you for the confirmation. ๐ฅ
