hello! You should be using a real, live card added to your Google wallet. You should also be signed in to your Google account on your browser when accessing Checkout Sessions

but I have no issue to see Google Pay icon on here with testing CC provided by google developer test card suite https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element

we don't charge your card in test mode i.e. when you're using the test API keys

I can't guarantee if it'll work with Google test cards. To be clear, you should always test with a real live card for Google Pay or Apple Pay when using Stripe

but I can see G pay on https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element . Why not at checkout.stripe ?

my colleague tried, the G pay button will show on checkout form(test mode) if a real card is added.

Since I can't see the G pay button here https://docs.stripe.com/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button (which refers to a Legacy Element), so my wild guess is your stripe checkout form also uses a legacy element.

The Express Checkout Element can show the button regardless if the customer has a valid card added to their wallet : https://docs.stripe.com/js/elements_object/create_express_checkout_element#express_checkout_element_create-options-paymentMethods

I believe our example chooses to always display the button so that our users can see how it looks like
