hi! seems like it's because you have a SubscriptionSchedule set up to do that.
if you update a Subscription directly, and the Subscription also has a Schedule, the update only changes the current phase, it does not change the future phases, so they can still swtich the Subscription back to a different Product. When you make updates you need to also make sure to update future phases of a related Schedule if it exists.
