Added detail/context: My goal is to have the issuing bank of the Plaid card receive/recognize the MCC from the transaction that was made with the Stripe Issuing card.
Could you share the use case why you would like to set the MCC dynamically in a Payment Intent? By default, a MCC is set to your Stripe account for the business type you operate
@glad basalt the card we are issuing via Stripe Issuing will act as a “aggregator” of the users cards connected via Plaid, and we want to ensure that the transaction from the original merchant gets recognized by the Plaid card’s issuing bank and not our stripe account
Thanks for sharing the details. Can I suggest you writing to Support https://support.stripe.com/contact with the above reason, so that they can check whether this can be supported on your account and business?

Thanks, will do. Is this something that is customizable on a per account basis?
