👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

🔗 This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1284085395285475440

Can you confirm that statement_descriptor is indeed deprecated, and we should remove it from our code?
Yes you need to use the_suffix param

#

If yes, can you explain to us why we don't receive errors under our another organization account, where we are still using statement_descriptor parameter?
Can you share a successful request ? Maybe you are using an old API version.

Hey, thanks for fast response!
The request ID of a successful request under our other account that uses the statement_descriptor parameter is req_un12GaJSMLtUZD.

that account has a special setting applied that lets it continue to provide statement_descriptor in an API call without getting a validation error

Can you let me know where I can set that setting for our other account as well?
Or is that something that Stripe needs to enable? If yes, how can we request that setting to be set for us?

the latter; a support ticket or your sales contact
