hi there!
hi
what do you mean by "user details" exactly?
Before doing the payment, the user will fill his email, mobile number and shipping address in express checkout. I want to access that details inside a variable or state, to store in my database.
you will get all that information stored in the PaymentIntent/PaymentMethod object.
<ExpressCheckoutElement onClick={handleexpressclick} onConfirm={handleexpresssubmit}
options={options} onShippingAddressChange={onShippingAddressChange}/>
const handleexpressclick = async ({resolve}) => {
const options ={
emailRequired: true,
phoneNumberRequired: true,
shippingAddressRequired: true,
allowedShippingCountries: ['US'],
shippingRates: [
{
id: 'free-shipping',
displayName: 'Free shipping',
amount: 0,
deliveryEstimate: {
maximum: {unit: 'day', value: 7},
minimum: {unit: 'day', value: 4}
}
},
]
}
resolve(options)
}
const handleexpresssubmit = async () => {
const {error, confirmationToken} = await stripe.confirmPayment({
elements,
clientSecret,
confirmParams:{
return_url: "https://example.com"
}
})
.then(function(result) {
if (result.error) {
// Inform the customer that there's an error.
}
else{
console.log(confirmationToken.id)
}
})
}
I do not have an payment method object. How do I create one for the above code?
