That code doesn't add usage to an Invoice, it adds it to the Customer, which means the next Invoice that gets created will pick it up.
how come i am not seeing the count go up on the new invoice ?
Have you implemented Test Clocks yet?
the "meter" event doesn't throw an exception such as you are trying to add count to a closed invoice?
i tried it but i never got any exceptions either
Again, you're not adding the meter event to an Invoice. You're adding it to the Customer itself. You can add meter events as much and as often as you want. The Invoice status has nothing to do with that
I don't understand what you're trying to do here. There's no exception expected.
