i mean if i go standard will merchant be able to defend it? or it's also us who need to defend chargebacks
@shy coral it depends on your flow of funds which is supposed to be different between Express and Standard.
With Standard accounts you are supposed to use Direct Charges (https://stripe.com/docs/connect/direct-charges) and the connected account would handle all their Disputes themselves either in the Dashboard or the API (but you have full access and can help)
With Express accounts you are supposed to use Destination Charges (https://stripe.com/docs/connect/destination-charges) and the connected account doesn't have a way to handle Disputes on their own. The easiest approach is to use one of our Connect Embedded components such as https://docs.stripe.com/connect/supported-embedded-components/payments which lets you show their payments and disputes and handle those. Or you can use our API
