👋 Welcome to your new thread!
⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.
⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.
🔗 This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1281621403493335061
📝 Have more to share? Add more details, code, screenshots, videos, etc. below.
Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. I don’t know which option will be better to either create a reversal or to create a refund
Destination
That’s what I wanna use, but I am currently sending the transfer separately but at the time of a cancellation or refund I have too many steps to reverse so I am trying to minimize some of those steps and I was wondering if a destination charge can help me since you can specify right there in the same API callwhich account to make a transfer to
Yeah with Destination Charges you can then just set reverse_transfer: true (https://docs.stripe.com/api/refunds/create#create_refund-reverse_transfer) when you create your refund
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
And that will both refund your end-customer and reverse the Transfer from your Connected Account
