Yes, Payment Intent ID (pi_xxx) is safe to share as the details are only visible to Stripe staff

In https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments/pi_3Pte2vIQNG9j1K3K0ayEi5a4, there was no update history - Step 2 more specifically

If your server doesn't send an update Payment Intent to Stripe, no details will be updated
