You can use Checkout (like what's shown in that demo) to create the Subscription, but in order to update it you would need to use a server-side API call (https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/upgrade-downgrade) or the Customer Portal (https://docs.stripe.com/customer-management)
For getting updates, you would listen for the customer.subscription.updated webhook to sync your database with Stripe
ohhh, cool, let me clarify, Can we use the Upgrade and Downgrade Subscription or Customer Self-Service Portal to obtain the AI agent update amount? We need this update to enable our backend to allow customers to create a new AI agent (once they pay)
The updated quantity will show after the update in the webhook, but you shouldn't rely on the return value of any given request to update your system, since webhook are more reliable
