Is there functionality you are seeing in the dashboard that you are looking for in the API?

I wanna see if when I create a product I can add other product ids as cross sells

Unfortunately, I think that is only applicable in the Dashboard. I'm reviewing the parameters you can specify in our API reference and I don't see anything that would map to this feature.
