Hi, let me help you with this.

#

What do you mean by "default country on Stripe Elements" in this case exactly?

true hull
#

When elements it mounted, the country defaults to UK, I would like this to default to Ireland when this locale is used within our app

#

I know I can set the name and email but the country doesnt work

#

defaultValues: {
billingDetails: {
'name': this.customer.object.name,
'email': this.customer.object.email,
'country': 'IE',
}
},

I think the form will display the country based on the customer's location/IP. Not sure if defaultValues will ovewrite that.

Is there any documentation to support this or a way I can spoof my location to test?

Let me do a quick check.

Thank you

feral spindle

Hmm, it worked for me, actually.

#

Oh, it needs to be defaultValues: { billingDetails: { address: { country: 'IE' } } }.

#

You're missing address

true hull
#

Ah, let me try that

#

Brilliant that worked, apologies for the simple mistake!

#

Thank you, have a nice day ๐Ÿ™‚
