My goal is to send an email and a notification in my application when payment is failed on this event, but dont cancel its product on my app, only cancel when "customer.subscription.deleted" is triggered, maked sense?
Hey @vocal summit I recommend carefully reading https://docs.stripe.com/billing/testing first to see how to test various scenarios and especially how to use our TestClocks (https://docs.stripe.com/billing/testing/test-clocks/api-advanced-usage) to advance time and simulate a future renewal that fails
And yes about what you said, a failed payment is usually not the end of your subscription, we will automatically retry to charge the payment method on file a few times before automatically canceling, see https://docs.stripe.com/billing/revenue-recovery/smart-retries
