Setup Intent can be used to collect a new payment method: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/save-and-reuse?platform=web&ui=elements, then you update the newly created payment method to the subscription's default_payment_method: https://docs.stripe.com/api/subscriptions/update#update_subscription-default_payment_method

But how do I make an api route or something that can take my customers to an update payment method or change their card information page.

For example In stripe website i went to the customers page and clicked "share change payment method link" and it gave me a link to change their card information.

The API route is internal to your system that we have no visibility how your system works.
