Hi

#

from
invoice.oayment_succeeded and invoice.payment_failed

how can I get the generic status

#

for example if the inovice failed I need the reason message or something like this so I can send it to custoimer via email

#

are you there?

topaz jetty
#

is there a reason why you need to send the exact reason to your customer via email? Stripe already offers a feature whereby we inform a customer about failed payments via email

#

to send alert to my customer why you inovice failed

#

from my on application server

topaz jetty
#

do you have an example Invoice id? That'll help me point you to the specific object / parameter

sour locust
#

No I am not tesing my webhooks

#

i saw the official stripe documentation and checked their inovie object

lets go back to the original question for a second, Stripe can inform your customers about failed payments via email and offers them a way to make payment again. Why do you need to alert your customer why the invoice failed?

Well for extra information

I'd like to mention though that it's possible that the invoice payment may fail because the customer doesn't have a default payment method set. In which case, you wouldn't see last_payment_error
