Hmm I don't think there's a way to configure the create subscription API call to do that.
have you tried updating the invoice after it has been generated?

I thought I wouldn't be able to do so after it is finalized and paid for, but I can give it a try.

Once an invoice is finalized, monetary values, as well as collection_method, become uneditable but memo can be updated
