Yes, this is possible with using price_data with adhoc price: https://docs.stripe.com/api/invoiceitems/create#create_invoiceitem-price_data
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
If we have a lot of these variable price one-off invoices, does that result in a lot of Price objects associated with the Stripe Product specified?
The invoices I'm creating are for prorated amounts, which are time based. That's why the amounts are variable.
Using price_data doesn't create a permanent price. The price created will only be used in this specific invoice
Interesting, I'll give that a try. Thank you! ๐
