So the first invoice is for the period 15th of July to 26th of Sep (200,14$) and the upcoming invoice will be from the 15th of Sept to the 15th of Oct. Then for the upcoming months, on the 15th a new invoice will be generated.
Checking, now, why the proration was computed based on the creation date of the Subscription (26th of Aug) 🤔 despite the billing cycle anchor is the 15th...
Could you make a quick test by disabling prorations ?

I think I'd expect that, the (only) point of backdate_start_date is to generate proration

i expect the invoice to be generated for 15 july to 15 september, as the billing cycle is on 15th

it does seem a bit weird, I'd suggest opening a support ticket at https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true so we can dig into it in more depth and replicate the scenario

better to send an email, but you have to talk to the automated chat first to get the option
