👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

🔗 This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1276588726079717559

You really shouldn't be doing that. The runs into PCI compliance issues and you will need to go through a rigorous review in order to enable those types of payments.

this is a business requirement there’s no other way. We are aware of the pci compliance issues and decide to still move forward. Can you link me what kind of review I need to go through?

How did you end up with raw pans stored on your server?

solemn prairie

What are raw pans?

The card's 16 digits

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you meant when you said "hitting stripe’s credit card apis directly from our backend servers"

solemn prairie
#

Oh. We currently have no credit card info on our server. Without going into too much detail, we need to provide several api services where people will be including cc info in the request. In order to do this we need to be able to hit stripe from backend. Otherwise we’d need people to go on another payment page which is not feasible.

I recommend reading this article and it provides details on how to ask for access and what's needed

The link says complete a pci dss self assessment questionnaire . Where can I do this?

I'd recommend to chat with our support team based on what's that support article and they can help. We can't really help with questions like this, I just know the flow exists to ask for access and we're strict around who can get approval
