Hello
I think those settings are for payments and won't affect onboarding experience..
Let me check if we have a setting to disable this in the onboarding flow..
Can you check if you have a faster authentication through link setting turned on here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/link
Oh, interesting. I didn't know about this page. Yes, that's on, as is "Save customer payment information on Link", which also certainly sounds like it could be responsible.
Try turning those off and see if that helps
I'm still getting the prompt during onboarding. I'm able to disable "Save payment information on Link for your platform account by default" on the page you linked to, but not "Enable faster authentication through Link for my platform and Connected Accounts". There's also a note for that one "Note that platform account settings apply because you previously enabled Connect on your account.". Does that mean I'd need to go somewhere else to change this?
Oh, or also it could just be that I need to get someone with more permissions on my account to turn this off. When I click the toggle button, there's a network request that returns a 403 with the error message You do not have the required permissions for this endpoint on account 'acct_1P3gfoEuwpItiHUC'. Having more permissions would allow this request to continue. I'll be right back hopefully.
