Hi there
Where are you blocked exactly? It seems like you've already looked into using Connect for this flow. If you use Connect, you'd create a connected account for each Freelancer. "Client accounts" would not need connected accounts since these are the users who are paying for the service. In Stripe terms, "Clients" would be represented by "Customer" objects

How do we send custom amounts for checkout flow?

By "custom amounts", you mean the client is deciding what they pay or that you may need to charge one customer $1000 and a different customer $1050, etc.?
