A payment method can't be shared between customers. To use the same payment method, the invoice or subscription must be created on the same customer

#

Are you using Invoice or Subscription?

Im using both

You can either:
(1) Create a subscription / invoice for difference child, the credit balance will apply the next invoices for any of them; OR
(2) Create different customers and collect the payment method again from the parent

  1. Create different customers and collect the payment method again from the parent
I did this, I made two different customer for 2 diff child of same parent.
But as the parent portal in my system is same, I need to give him option to choose his exisiting payment method.
But when he choose the exisiting payment method, I receive payment_method_already asssigned to a customer resPonse.
I there any solution to fix this.

When two Stripe customers are created, their payment methods can't be shared, i.e. payment method on customer A can't be copied or used on customer B. There is no workaround with this. Your system should collect a new payment method for customer B.

To use the same payment method on different invoices/subscriptions, they must be created on the same customer
