Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. Hello! Are you using the Payment Request Button or the Express Checkout Element on the web?

obtuse copper
#

We're using this one, embedded in our site

#

Ah, that's the Payment Element. Can you link me to the guide you're using to implement that? There are a few different approaches.

obtuse copper
#

Hmmm, we've already implemented it. We have an Elements component with Payment form as a child.

#

The PaymentElement component has an applePay option containing our recurringPaymentRequest details

#

where we define the ApplePayLineItems

#

This is after we call stripe().subscriptions.create

Right, but I need to know how you're initializing the Payment Element. Are you providing it with a client secret from a Payment Intent, or are you using another approach?

obtuse copper
#

Ah ok, standby

#

We're using loadStripe with the stripePublishableKey

#

hmmm. hold on.

#

The Elements component contains a clientSecret

#

and a "stripe" prop which contains a reference to the loadStripe()

Okay, so when initializing Elements with a client secret the currency from the Intent the client secret belongs to will be used.

Nice!

Thank you so very much
