Is there a way to specify a separate platform fee for a one time payment?
I tried payment_intent_data but it didn't let me as I was doing a subscription checkout session.
hi there aren't any settings for this , it's all controlled by the raw values you pass to the API(in this case application_fee_amount ) so it mostly comes down to you need to calculate and set the exact amount that results in what you're looking for.
Note also you can update the application_fee_amount later(after the CheckoutSession completes for instance), so that the future payments use a different rate.
Got it, so setting the future fee is really the only solution?
