hi! emails are not sent in test mode for example, so it could be that.

I suspect there's a toggle that I'm missing? I'm just not sure which one
well in this case it's a really small amount less than our mininum charge amount (https://docs.stripe.com/currencies#minimum-and-maximum-charge-amounts) so there wouldn't be any payment and thus no charge and no payment receipt specifically
Ah, that's weird, because the transaction did actually go through. The docs for the checkout session states that the amount must not be less than 0.3, which it currently isn't

oh I see, I thought it was 50 for GBP as well
not sure really, maybe make sure you have the settings for sending receipts turned on in https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/emails
I checked a few things and see nothing obvious, if you continue to have issues with this with live customers I'd suggest reaching out to https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true to dig into this in more depth in a support ticket
