๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

๐Ÿ‘‹ happy to help

#

but unfortunately this is not compatible with Checkout Sessions

#

so, this would work in "old way" when users were entering credit card on page without redirecting to stripe?

hollow sluice
#

that's not an old way

#

with the PaymentElement

#

but instead of creating a Subscription, you create a Subscription Schedule

#

i think, this second example doesn't have trial in subscription? this feature from legacy?

#

that's why we had to switch to spripes checkout.

#

but i can try to implement your first example.

hollow sluice
#

you don't need to have trial

#

Please stop using legacy, because what I'm referring to aren't legacy features at all

#

a Subscription Schedule can have multiple phases

#

each phase can have a different price

#

and each phase can have either an end_date or a number of iterations

#

so basically in your case you would be creating a subscription schedule that has 2 phases:

#

phase 1: price 2000, 1 iteration
phase 2: price 600, 5 ieterations
and then the end_behavior is cancel since the Subscription doesn't continue after the 6 iterations
