There's not a way to extend that window, no
Why not just wait to create subscription when customer is on-session
You could have them checkout via Stripe Checkout, for example, if you wanted a hosted payment page
Hi Duchess, roger that, thank you. We're importing a list of new customers that need to be on billing asap, client wants to import rather than wait for each to 're-signup' as the customers had existing subscriptions with the previous company. Needing to set each customer up with pre-determined subscription per, ie have product and price id for each individual user. So far I've got an import going to Stripe ( only creating customer object so far ) and to the clients WP site ( along with their Stripe customer id ) so user can login to add payment method.
