@gloomy zenith you seem to be using the Direct Charges flow documented here https://stripe.com/docs/connect/direct-charges
What this means is that you are making the API request on the connected account to create the PaymentIntent.
So when you go to retrieve the PaymentIntent in the API you need to clearly tell us which account it's on, exactly like you did for creation. This is done using the Stripe-Account header feature: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/authentication#stripe-account-header
i see
I think we are missing that
Stripe::PaymentIntent.retrieve('pi_3PlZb7IuQrv5BsKs1UiAsVu6', { stripe_account: 'acct_1PRJ1UInSwpcdyuR' })
If i do something like this with a correct payment intent and correct stripe account id, it still returns no such payment intent
No such payment_intent: 'pi_3PlZb7IuQrv5BsKs1UiAsVu6' (Stripe::InvalidRequestError)
this is the error
oops
i may have the wrong stripe account
You want Stripe::PaymentIntent.retrieve( 'pi_3PlZb7IuQrv5BsKs1UiAsVu6', {}, // empty hash for params { stripe_account: 'acct_1PRJ1UInSwpcdyuR' })
let me check
but yes you have the wrong Stripe account id
