@jolly iron do you have an easy way for me to repro? I don't really have the set up for this yet and Discord is busy so would take a while to reproduce.
My understanding is that Alipay + Subscription is not public. We have a feature for this but it's in beta internally

I see, no problem. So stripe currently doesn't support subscription changes through their portal if you have alipay as your default payment method for your current subscription. Can you confirm this part then I can convey with my team.

I can't confirm that part, I don't know. I think it is likely to be the issue but I am not sure. You likely will have to talk to our support team to get a definitive answer on this as Alipay + Recurring payments requires approval/a beta

Okay cool. Let me check with them as well. Alipay for recurring payments works for us like a charm, without any issues though. It only when we take them to billing portal to change their plan it falls short.
