Can you share the invoice ID (in_xxx) that tax rate was not applied?
yes, for example in_1Pl8AUFHHyxgxiXhFs8FYrY8
Stripe has two type of tax products:
- Tax rate: manual tax that has to be added explicitly in your invoice creation
- Stripe tax: automatic tax computation for you
In the example screenshot, that was a Tax Rate which requires you to add it into your invoice manually during its creation
So in tax rate it need to be added through the api to each new invoice created
Your integration uses Checkout Session, so the tax rate should be added into Checkout Session creation request: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_RGemWMVHh9kT5v
The tax rate should be added to each line item using line_items.tax_rates field: https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/create#create_checkout_session-line_items-tax_rates
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
thank you
