It seems to be that the subscription originally had a subscription schedule but that has already processed. I would assume this would allow the client to update the trial period but instead we are getting an error message: The trial_end 1736015378 must be within start_date 1719633600 and end_date 1735444800 for phase 0.

@median plover this looks like a Dashboard request. Are you a developer writing end to end code here or are you just blocked with an issue in the Dashboard?

I am a developer with 100+ stripe connect clients processing ~$16m/year

Sorry that's not what I am asking. I am asking if the specific issue you are debugging is related to making clicks in the Dashboard, or if the original request you shared is unrelated and this is about your production code right now returning the error? That specific request was made by a human in the Dashboard, not with code

yes, a human from the dashboard. Should I write a script attempting to update the subscription trial end date and get back to you?

#

It just seems like a Stripe bug and I was unable to explain it to my client.

yep it might be. I'm asking more to figure out if I can help. If your ask is "why is the Dashboard returning an error" then the next step would be to reach out to our support team for 1:1 help. It definitely shouldn't error and it does look like a real bug to me

ok, thanks

Sorry for the hassle, there's definitely some mis-configuration here and hopefully they can help unblock
