In live mode, card issuer could request for 3DS authentication to prove the customer indeed authenticate the card for its usage
How to show an actual amount instead of zero amount?
Collecting the card details through Setup Intent is always $0. If you wish to collect the payment method during payment, I'd recommend using Payment Intent for saving payment method during payments instead: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/save-during-payment?platform=web&ui=embedded-form
