But I'm asking when you made the request to retieve the upcoming invoice. Also, you passed the exact same parameters?

subtle sand
#

it was also at the same time, i didn't let time pass by, yes also same parameters

valid ridge
#

But the upcoming invoice api did not show $588.99?

subtle sand
#

when i make the call it shows me the prorated amount left which is $49.91 and from there i figure out the math. in this case i do new plan amount $640 - the prorated amount left $49.91 = $590.09 but Stripe charged $588.07.

#

is there a way to show the actual amount that it will charge without me having to calculate?

valid ridge
#

Except the change is occuring one day into the billing cycle so the amount is not the full $640. It's $638.90

subtle sand
#

out of the $50 why is it that is only charged .12cents?

valid ridge
#

It's an annual billing cycle so that's what 1 day comes out to

#

And we calculate time fractions using the number of seconds so it might not line up exactly with whole days either.

subtle sand
#

let me try doing a different calculation

When you retrieved the Invoice using the Upcoming Invoice, it should have included the line item for the new price and that should have shown the exact amount of $588.99
