hello river ๐Ÿ‘‹

#

the question is pretty self explanatory, basically I'm building a page with stripe connect and I'm wondering if I should make a stripe account for every user (for link to work?) or is it only necessary the people who are getting paid through the platform? and side note, does autofill work just over https with chrome saved cards or how does that work?

Link is a payment method and doesn't need a connected account

#

Customer can sign up Link at the checkout step in Element or Checkout Session

#

No additional integration is needed for Link

bet, that's good to know, thank you

#

so accounts only really need to be created for those that are getting paid from the site and not those buying from the site

#

?

#

with stripe connect?

frail marten
#

Yes, that's right! Stripe Connect is for users/merchants/sellers who will be paid, not for customer
