// Create Payment Intent
$paymentIntent = PaymentIntent::create([
'customer' => $customer->id,
'amount' => 4900,
'currency' => 'usd',
'payment_method' => $payment_method_id,
'setup_future_usage' => "off_session",
'confirm' => true,
]);
Log::channel('stripe')->info($paymentIntent);
if ($paymentIntent->status === PaymentIntentStatus::Succeeded->value) {
$data = [
'customer_id' => $customer->id,
'payment_method_id' => $payment_method_id,
];
return new ServiceResponse(true, $data, 'Payment Succeeded');
} else {
return new ServiceResponse(false, null, 'Payment has status ' . $paymentIntent->status);
}
Hello, what exactly is the error that you are getting here? When you try to confirm the intent it is expected that you will either get a success along with the intent going in to a succeeded or requires_capture status and if you get a decline the intent will be created but you will get an error about the decline
Soryy I forgot to clarify. The code works corectly. But, when trying fraudulent cards, or cards that should fail etc. https://docs.stripe.com/testing#declined-payments It throws Stripe\Exception\ApiErrorException; My question is, does it always do that, when it is a problem with the cards?
