Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm not familiar with the PayPal feature you're referring to, but it isn't possible to send Payouts in Stripe to email addresses.

hi toby, thanks for the reply - ok then is there any other way i can send rewards to my customers for referring their friends to my platform etc? without integrating a full onboarding to stripe within my own flow? i.e. can i allocate $50 for customer X via an API call at the end of the month if they have referred 5 friends, and they can go through the stripe onboarding themselves and 'claim' their funds? or anything that will fit this use case?

No, if you want to actually pay out funds to Customers, they also need to be onboarded to Stripe in order for us to be able to send funds to them.

The only thing coming to mind that is close to that is using Customer Balances, but I don't think that really aligns with what you're describing (those balances can't be cashed out).
