could you elaborate a bit more on what you're trying to do? tax rates and discounts are somewhat separate things and they can indeed be used together.
I have a standard tax of 10% on all invoices. However, this percentage could be decreased in specific cases. What I would like to do, is to inform the user that the tax that should’ve been paid was of 10%, but it has been decreased down to x%
well mostly you'd just create different TaxRate txr_xxx object for the lower percentage, and apply that rate to the Invoice instead of your usual one, when your business logic indicates you should do that.
