Hi there, Stripe creates and manages the Apple Merchant ID internally, and this ID isn't surface through Dashboard or API.
Is that something I can submit a request to get or does Stripe not share those at all?
Why do you need this ID?
We are building an experience that will be different depending on whether a user has digital wallets available on their device. Because Stripe doesn't have an API just for mobile wallet detection (it's only available as a callback on the ExpressCheckout element), we are adding code to detect it ourselves. The way that Apple allows you to do that is calling their API, which requires the Merchant ID.
The last couple times I've reached out, I've been told otherwise ๐ Glad to hear that! Do you have to use the Payment Request Element to use that?
No you don't
I'll take a look at that, thanks for the help
No problem!
